About the House
Ìjọ Ifá Èjìogbè is an Ifá house in São Paulo dedicated to oracular consultations, spiritual care and the training of initiates, following Yorùbá tradition with responsibility and warmth. We welcome clients from every background and path — umbanda, candomblé, traditional Ifá worship and other Afro-Brazilian traditions — with respect and without judgment. Our work combines the Ifá divination game, recommended spiritual works, and ongoing support for every client, remotely or in person.
The Spiritual Family (Ẹgbẹ́)
We see the path of Ifá as building a strong and committed spiritual family. The Babalawo acts as the spiritual father who guides each initiate (Omọ Awo) with patience and wisdom, teaching good character (Ìwà Pẹ̀lẹ́) and respect for the Ewò (individual taboos) revealed by the oracle. This solid structure of mutual guidance not only welcomes initiates on their daily journey of evolution, but also builds a brand of extreme responsibility, authority, and respect for the genuine Yorùbá tradition.
